higher-tier characters.

i used to hate them, but as i become smarter i realize they're a necessary evil. you can't do crap if your character sucks.

what do you guys think? are they easy mode or the only way to play the game?

You should rename this topic to "A low tier main's plight."

They are necessary for the game, without them, we wouldn't have the game we have now.

high tiers don't even matter, it's about the top tiers.

I don't really think tiers play much other than where the person is gonna start. It all matters on the player's skill, and what they've set themselves up to counter, or bear through. Counters and higher tiers are only set that way, because the general player of characters haven't set themselves up to defend against people playing those chars. I personally have no trouble with high tier chars, it's just like any other player to me. I guess I just sorta got used to it after a while.

from my own tortured exsistance with ganon, I have enough personal experience to support teirs.

not to say teirs are the gospel. no way in crap. I take out scrubs and nubs all the time. when you start brawling more in your own skill level, though, it cuts deep.

I'll never beat blue's oli with my ganon.

Tiers do matter, I know they do, but they're only minor when you have the skills to cut them down. Tiers are very, very volatile, and will blow up in your face if you just think tiers are the way to go. You just need to go with whatever char suits you, aka my rainbow of low tiers, which seem to defy tiers altogether. There's no real, same skill level sort of thing. If they won, it means that they are better, even if only just a little.
