OBC Main Event: Grand Reopening!

Heya, fellow members of OBC!
A big staple of this site, which most of you know, is our main events. Since this is still OBC in it's essence, we're having those main events!
I hope you're excited, because we're kick starting this soon! As in, December 11th, seven o'clock eastern.
It'll be singles, double elimination. Specifically three stock, no items, eight minute time limit. Stages set to standard rules; e.g. neutrals are neutrals and CPs are CPs.
We'll also be doing this in joint with AiB, as before, because we're desperate for members. It'd help if you spread the word, get your friends to join, and just do what's in your awesome power to make this tourney completely amazing! That's the goal, anyway.

though I'm not exactly sure on stage legality at this point. we could talk about it or I could just think harder.

We could maybe go with SWF's stage list and use the ones that are green under the "x/y" headings. That's pretty generous.

Hope you all have a good time with the main event, won't be here to cheer you on. *coughfizzcough* XD Well anyways, I might find a way to check on here, if I remember the web address anyways. Hopefully I'll have wi-fi soon, and I can prove myself as a decent brawler still, maybe even take 1st... doubt it, but I can wish. I think that about 2 or 3 people here are still a lot better than me, don't know about some of you. Don't forget, as a community, competition isn't the big thing, it's having fun... which sounds overused and corny, but it stil applies and it is true.

The tournament hasn't started because apparently a server went out on the west coast and a lot of obc members are there. So we'll add you, but we're still not sure when this thing's starting. You might want to get on chat. It's on the portal.

Uh, sorry but it already happened. Although we were planning to make it a biweekly event if it went well, and we ended up with like fourteen people (and some people left an we managed to replace them), so I'd say it was a success. So you can join the one in twoish weeks!

I'll try to dust off my brawl disc for the next one, but Friday's I'm usually out with friends but I'll do my best to be there! I suck now though
