Yeah, I actually posted this on the old site.
Personally, I'm feeling reserved optimism about this game. Sonic Team has bent me over the train tracks too many times for me to just accept this at face value, I'm not going to REALLY believe this game will be good until I get some gameplay footage, and some hands-on impressions.

OK, I thought I remembered having seen it somewhere.
Anyway, I know what you mean. But I'm pretty optimistic about this. I mean, 2D is definitely a step in the right direction.
