I made a Mafia forum. I also made a rules topic, so READ IT. Seriously, even if you know the basic rules, read that. Because it may be slightly different from what you've played.

Anyway, this time around day will last from 9 A.M. EST to 10 P.M. EST, and night will last from 10 P.M. EST to 9 A.M. EST. Keep track of how long is remaining in the day/night (particularly day), because not voting or not carrying out your role can have serious consequences for your side. I realized the day and night don't both last 12 hours but it's the only way I can change it from night to day before I get to school in the morning. Plus, night actions don't take very long.

If you sign up, please be active. This was a problem in the last game.

Take chances. If the town skips out on lynching a few times it increases the chances of the Mafia winning. It will never be statistically likely for the town to lynch a mafioso. Chances must be taken. You can't rely too much on night actions. Sometimes they don't even happen.

Roles for this game will be:
  • Townsperson
  • Sheriff
  • Vigilante
  • Doctor
  • Mafia Member

This is likely not the final list. We will probably add more roles depending on the number of members. Keep in mind some roles are secret, even to the person who has them.

All roles are described under Mafia Rules. Please note that when the sheriff investigates the vigilante s/he will appear guilty even though s/he is not.


We need a few more members this time. So please sign up if you think you'd enjoy playing.

Jester is a person trying to get lynched, if he gets lynched, then he will win. if he is killed by other means, he loses.
